I am considering coming to WDW and camping at Ft. Wilderness, in a tent. Is tenting in February is allowed, and how cold does it get in the campground in mid-February? Thanks!

Hello, Harry! Welcome to the Moms Panel!
The campsites located at Fort Wilderness are available year round. You can most certainly set-up a tent during the month of February. This was the easy part of your question. Now onto the tricky side of your question.
Weather is definitely one area that, no matter how hard you try, you can never truly figure out. Weather in Florida...GOOD LUCK! There have been times when you are parading around in shorts all day and a light sweater in the evening during the month of February. Then there have been those times when jeans and a light sweater during the day was fine, but you added another layer during the evening hours. Your best bet is to keep a close eye on the weather forecast a week upon arrival. Should you see rain in the forecast, make sure your tent is free of holes so the water stays out. Trust me, I have seen it happen. Folks usually find it quite amusing as they are sitting in their tents with water dripping on their heads. Then again, they could just be so deliriously tired from being at the parks all day that laughing is all they can do.
