Planning in advance to go to Disney this November, and am looking into doing the "Keys to the Kingdom Tour". Are you issued a separate ticket in advance like you are for MNSSHP, and how far in advance should I buy?

Hi Cristine! Thank you so much for your question! I am actually doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour with 2 of my kids in just two weeks - we are all so excited! For this behind-the-scenes tour at Magic Kingdom, you will not be issued a separate "hard ticket" like for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You will just call 407-WDW-TOUR (407-939-8687) up to 180 days prior to the day you'd like to take the tour (but keep in mind that some days it is not offered so you'll want to call early to give yourself a few options.) The Cast Member will give you a confirmation number and instructions on where and at what time to meet up with the tour. Ours is at 8:30 am and we were asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to this time at the Chamber of Commerce building, beside City Hall, on Main Street U.S.A. You will need a separate theme park ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom so please keep that in mind. The tour is scheduled to last about 5 hours, and lunch is included at Columbia Harbor House.
If you want to write me back in a couple of weeks, I can give you any tips or information I learned about doing this tour, so please don't hesitate to come back and ask - it would be my pleasure to help you Cristine! Thanks again for your question, and have a magical day!
