We are headed to Disneyworld in Feb.2014 for the seven day park pass. Through social media I have discovered you no longer will issue a Guest Access Card for special needs kids. Can you let me know more information?

While it's true that the GAC (Guest Assistance Card) is going away, Disney is not eliminating services to help guests with special needs. They are simply providing a new service. It seems that there is an increasing number of requests for special access to attractions. In order to provide a consistent and enjoyable experience, Disney has replaced the GAC with the Disability Access Service Card (DASC).
You get this card at Guest Relations just like before. The card will offer guests a return time for an attraction based on the current wait time (similar to a FastPass). Many disability groups as well as Autism Speaks have been instrumental in helping develop this new service to offer the best experience to all guests.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
