Hello! We will be staying at Shades of Green & were wondering if we are required to pay to park at the theme parks, or are we considered WDW resort guests, and our keys would allow us the same benefits as those on Disney owned properties? Thank you!

Though Shades of Green is on Walt Disney World property, this hotel is not owned and managed by Disney. Therefore guests do not have the same benefits as visitors staying in a WDW owned resort. Unfortunately, free parking is one of the perks not included at SOG. If you drive your car to the parks, you will need to pay for parking. SOG provides transportation to the theme parks, so consider leaving your vehicle at the hotel to save a few bucks.
Room keys at Shades of Green do not have charging privileges or serve as your park admission. You will be able to take advantage of one of the best privileges granted to WDW guests, however- additional time to play in the parks! Extra Magic Hours are included for all guests at Shades of Green.
Enjoy your visit to Mickey!
