I am completely lost when it comes to Fastpass+. Is this still an experiment? I have opened a My Disney Experience account and see there is a place to get Fastpass+ reservations. But am I really getting them?

Thank you for the great question! Yes, MyMagic+ is still in testing phases and selected guests are offered the opportunity to participate in FastPass+. If you are able to book FastPass+ selections, I'd say you are a part of the testing program!
I recently participated as well and loved the ability to select evening FastPasses for headliner attractions like Toy Story Midway Mania! or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Try to map out your itinerary and determine which favorites you'd like to select. You will have the opportunity to modify your existing selections based on availability once in the Parks, either by the My Disney Experience smartphone app or the iPad reservation stations in Guest Relations. I was able to make changes on the fly from the palm of my hand. I loved FastPass+ and I hope you will too.
