Is babysitting available on the Disney cruises? I am hoping my husband and I can go out in the evening while our son is sleeping, but would need to hire a babysitter to listen for him in our room. Is that an option for additional charge?

It is wonderful to hear from you! I know you are looking forward to enjoying some of the
adult-only offering and amenities on your upcoming Disney Cruise! In-room
babysitting is not available on board, but Guests ages 12 weeks to three
years can spend time in the nursery
for a nominal hourly fee. The youth counselors in the nursery are
fabulous and keep the little cruisers very entertained with story time,
crafts, movie time and age appropriate toys! If your infant or toddler is ready for bed during his visit, cribs and mats are available in a separate quiet
area. Reservations can be made online in the Planning Center Section
the Disney Cruise website or once you board the ship. The first
afternoon Open House hours are held so you can explore the space with
your little sailor. We used the nursery on our first sailing for my
son, and he loved his time in this bright, interactive space! There is
even a two-way glass so you can check in without your son
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Sarah! If you need further assistance, please write back!
Have a magical day!
