We'll be visiting MK the first week of May, 08. I know it shouldn't be too terribly crowded at that time but I was wondering what days the crowds would be especially light. We will go on either a Monday or Wednesday.

You’re right! Crowds should be manageable. However if I were to pick a day for the Magic Kingdom, I would choose Wednesday. I’ve always found Mondays to be much more crowded at the Magic Kingdom than mid-week. I hope this holds true for your visit.... read more
My family and I would like to get picked to ride the train to open up the Magic Kingdom. They always pick a family, how do you get picked?

It would be a wonderful experience for your family to open the Magic Kingdom, but unfortunately there is no way for you influence whether you are chosen for this event. The families that open the Magic Kingdom are randomly selected out of the crowd.... read more
We are not staying at any of the WDW resorts, but will be visiting MK until it closes at night. Can you tell me if taxi cabs will be available at 11pm to take us back to our hotel? Thanks!

I have taken cabs from the theme parks back to my hotel many times. At most of the theme parks, there are cabs waiting right there outside the park. However, no vehicle traffic (other than Disney buses) is allowed directly at the Magic Kingdom.... read more
I would love to get some pictures of the castle without other guests in the picture.I've heard suggestions about trying to be the first in or last out...but does anyone know if I can arrange 5 min alone on Main St?
