Hello Mom's and Dad! We are visiting WDW for the first time in June 08'. We are on the dining plan and I'm very overwhelmed knowing I have to make these dinner reservations. How do I start? And how does the Character Dining work with dining plan? Thanks!

Hi Jance,I know first trips can feel very overwhelming. I'm assuming you are on the basic dining plan. You will get one snack, one counter service, and one table service credit per night of your stay. The character meals usually... read more
We are taking our daughter for dinner to Cinderella's Royal Table. Our reservation is not until 8:30 pm and our 8 month old son is usually sleeping. He is great with sleeping in the stroller--are we allowed to bring our stroller into the restaurant?

I remember four years ago when my little boy was only two years old, he also often would take naps in his stroller. Our family had reservations at the castle and he had fallen asleep. They were fine with me bringing the... read more
Is dinner or lunch a more magical experience at Cinderella's Castle?? We are visiting in September and I want my daughter to have the best experience possible.

We are taking our 3 grandchildren to Disney World May 30th-June 8th, staying in a cabin in Fort Wilderness, should we book the dinner shows before we go? Which shows are recommended? Children's ages are 13, 10 and 8, is there a grocery store?

I was able to take a tour of the Fort Wilderness cabins earlier this week. They are so homey and fun. I'm sure you'll have a great time there. If you would like to see a dinner show, then you most definitely should reserve that in advance by... read more
I am taking my daughters (4 and 5) to CRT, PSD, & 1900 PF on thier first trip to DW. Do you think the'll notice there are different 'Cinderella's' and other princesses? I'm worried some of the magic will be lost if they see different looking CInderella

An excellent question. Much like seeing Santa at the mall, you always wonder how much children "get" about the concept of characters. In my experience with 4 and 5 year old girls, the belief in the character is really all about the costume. If they... read more
