I have heard that the window to make reservations for dining has gone from 180 days down to 90 days. Is this true? How long will this last? We are planning a grand gathering in June and want to make sure all 10 of us can sit together for our meals.

Your answer is yes and no. Yes, the reservations 'window' has changed from 180 days down to 90 days for most all activities, restaurants, etc. I assume that this is a permanent change.

Hi! Feb. '09 visit. Have an 8:05am res. @ Crystal Pal., staying @ WL, when do we need to leave (bus)? Also, how late does Play & Dine take breakfast res? Currently have lunch, thinking of switching to have a late breakfast as our lunch. Thanks!

Christmas is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World especially for your first visit and the Candlelight Processional is extra special.

We are planning a trip for May '09. I have heard that Disney is permanantly changing their ADR system to 90 days in advance rather than 180 days starting immediately. Is this true, or just a rumor?

You heard correctly! Effective December 23, 2008 the booking window for dining reservations (as well as recreation and tours experiences) is 90 days. Any existing reservations will be honored as booked.

Does anyone know why I'm getting so many different answers on when dining reservations will be up and running? A family friend cancelled because she felt like it wasn't safe putting 700.00 out in a ddp, and you can't book a reservation. arrival 4/24/09.

I'm not sure where your varying information is coming from, but I can certainly understand how frustrating that would be!
Disney has been upgrading their reservation system and things were abnormal for a while during that process. ... read more
