Is La Nouba worth the extra $$ to take my 5yr old daughter? I have heard it is a spectacular show. Just wondering if it will hold her attention. Thanks again.

That's a tough question Amy. I recently saw the show for the first time and I can attest that it is an amazing production. That being said, it is a fairly lengthy show (approx. 90 minutes) with no intermission. Admittedly even I... read more
My son has been begging for a monorail track set since he spotted it in the gift shop on our last trip. After Santa failed him last year he would like to make it up this year;) Any ideas on how to get it home secretly from our Sept. trip? Flying.

Santa's work is never done is it? That monorail set is mighty cool, but I wouldn't bring it on the plane with you -- too big. I think you have two good options though:1. Have it mailed from WDW to your home. The guest services desk or gift shop at... read more
How much time should we allow to spend at Downtown Disney? We're not big shoppers. Just want to let the kids pick up a few souvenirs, eat a counter service meal, and at least say we've been there! We missed this on our last trip 2 years ago. Thanks!

I have a son who will turn two in August and having recently returned from WDW and seeing La Nouba, I would not recommend taking a child that age to the show. I don't know about your little boy, buy at this age, my son is all about... read more
In a previous question, you mentioned building your own light saber at Once Upon A Toy in Downtown Disney. My son loves Star Wars. Can you please give me a little more information on this. What exactly can you do? How much does it cost? Thanks!

So the Force is strong with your son too! Well you might get a galactic hug if you stop at Once Upon A Toy Store to make a lightsaber. You'll find the lightsaber station very easy to use. Building your own Jedi weapon is a great activity for all... read more
