I am visiting Disney World in September and my parents have luckily agreed to come too to help with our 2 yr old and 4 yr old. Are there pros/cons to booking a room for my parents and a room for our family together vs separate reservations?

We will be travelling to Disney in Feb 09 with 4 adults and one child age 4 (turning 5 during our visit). My question is, what accomodations will fit our group? I was thinking adjoining rooms at a value resort but would it be better to go Moderate?

We have a reservation for a family suite March 25 at Allstar Music. My elderly mom is in a standard room. I just learned they are not going to be adjoining, tho that was requested. Upon arrival, can we upgrade to adjoining rooms?

Ann, adjoining/connecting rooms are never guaranteed. In your case, it’s probably a matter of lack of inventory. Since you are in a family suite, it may be more difficult to find an adjoining room. Please note that adjoining rooms are near each... read more
