Have you ever stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I read that its hard to get around this resort. and transportation is a long wait?

I LOVE this panel!! I've learned so much here. Everywhere I read it says to wear comfy shoes. We are visiting the 1st week of june and I'm a flip flop adict. Its gonna be hot!! Are comfy flip flops ok to wear around to the parks?

We will be enjoying WDW for the first time from 12/20-27. We realize it is a busy time, only time we can all go, but concerned about cowards. There will be 6 adults and 4 kids 16-8. Any suggestions to make it the best first trip and Christmas possible?

I have gotten tons of answers here!! My question is are we making a mistake by visiting for the first time in Aug. 9-15? Are the crowds gonna be heavier then than say, Dec. 13-17? Aug. date is still in value season, just want to know about the crowds.
