Are you allowed to park at another resort for free if you have dining reservations there? We are staying at All Star Movies and have a BR at Chef Mickeys at 730am on 6-2. What would be the best fastest transportation? Our car or Disney transportation?

Hi again Jaime! Yes, Disney resort guests will receive a placard to place in the windshield/dashboard of their cars. When you drive into the theme parks or other resorts you will be stopped at the toll booths or in the case of the resorts, the security booths.
For theme parks, the cast members just waive you through since unlike guests staying off-site, you don't have to pay. When you are visiting other resorts, you stop at the security station. The cast member usually asks if you are visiting for reservations, special events, what have you. You can then proceed and either self park(free) or in the case of the deluxe resorts, like the Contemporary where Chef Mickey's is, you can opt to valet park($$).
That being said, if you are planning on going to the Magic Kingdom after your breakfast, it gets more complicated. You can't leave your car at the Contemporary for long periods of time as that parking lot is for visiting guests(like you) or guests of that resort. I like to have my own car, so if I was heading to the MK after breakfast, I would park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot. Instead of getting on the monorail for the Magic Kingdom, I would get on the Magic Kingdom Resorts monorail. That monorail takes you to the Contemporary(where Chef Mickey's is). Then after breakfast, you just head to the MK and at the end of the day, you go back to your car.
Now of course if you are going to another theme park that day, just drive your own car and after breakfast drive over to the other park.
Whew! This is why the Disney Moms Panel is so busy!Laura S, from MA
