My kids are 4,8 and 10. What are the "DO NOT MISS" theme parks? Since this is their first time to Disney.

Hi Ann Marie! You don't mention how long you will be in the World; but if you have enough time, I think you should visit all four of the major Walt Disney theme parks.
I think everyone imagines the Magic Kingdom in their initial Disney dreams since Cinderella Castle is the most recognizable symbol of Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is the first place people make a b-line for. The Magic Kingdom
contains the famous rides such as the mountain range; Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. You can also find it's a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom. That park is a definite, in your words, "DO NOT MISS!"
The other three theme parks are Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Epcot
has the important historical significance of being the last great project of Walt Disney. He died shortly after debuting the 'community of tomorrow' to the world during a television special. Although we travel quite a bit as a family, we haven't gotten a chance to visit places like Morocco or Japan and having my daughter experience the history, architecture, foods and languages of the countries in World Showcase has given her not only an educational lesson, but the desire to travel to these places as well.
So Epcot is my second "DO NOT MISS!" If you have more time, Hollywood Studios
and Animal Kingdom
are also great parks and hold even more fun things to do. I suggest that you purchase the 'park hopper' option with your tickets so that you can sample all the parks.
