Hi. My daughter(16) and I are leaving for Disney in 15 days. We already have an appointment at BBB in the MK. She saw yesterday that at the Dolphin hotel there was a spa treatment for teens. Which would be more age appropriate and how do the rates run?

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique welcomes all princesses from age three on up. Everyday, there are teens, adults, and even grandmas who get makeovers from the Fairy-Godmothers-In-Training. But in all honesty the vast majority of the guests at the BBB will be children from about 3 to 8 years old.
If your daughter wants a Cinderella "do," then the BBB would be a great choice. Prices start at about $50 for basic hair, make-up and pixie dust, and go up to about $200 for a package that includes a costume and photo session. (And actually the real upper end of this would not be available for you because the costumes only go up to about size 12). To make reservations for the BBB, call 407-WDW-STYLE.
If your daughter wants a real grown-up experience, then perhaps one of the resort spas would be a better choice for her. Most of the deluxe hotels have some sort of salon or massage service available, but the main places at WDW for real spa treatments would be the Grand Floridian and the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. I'm looking at a brochure that I picked up at Saratoga earlier this year. Pricing could change, but here's what some of the prices have been recently:
25 Minute Swedish Massage: $65
Lady's Haircut: $55+
25 Minute Aromatherapy Facial: $65
There are also several levels of combination packages available at each location. For more information about spa services, you should call Saratoga Springs at 407-827-4455.
