« back to Disneyland – How to Get There
Hi, Amanda! If staying at a Good Neighbor hotel, is it easier to drive to the parks or do they offer shuttle service? Are any hotels (besides DL resorts) within walking distance of the parks? Daily parking rates at DL parking lot?

Hi Cathy! So nice to hear from you again regarding your upcoming Disneyland vacation!
Many of the Good Neighbor Hotels offer complimentary shuttle service, while others rely on the Anaheim Resort Transportation
service to transport guests to area tourist attractions and other locales. You'll need to check with a specific resort to inquire about shuttle transportation to Disneyland, otherwise, you can purchase up to a 5-day pass for Anaheim Resort Transportation
which will provide your family a ride to and from almost any destination in the Greater Anaheim area. These shuttles will pick up in front of your hotel according to posted schedule, transport you to the destination, and pickup from the same location.
Many of the Good Neighbor Hotels are technically within walking distance but from personal experience, the closest is the Anabella Hotel. I have stayed here several times and to get to Downtown Disney and the theme parks, all you have to do is cross the street, walk past Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, then cut through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, before arriving mid-way through Downtown Disney which is a hop, a skip, and a jump from the parks. The total total walk is about a block which takes about 15 minutes, door to door.
Parking at Disneyland is $15 but if staying off property, it is probably better to walk or take a shuttle / transportation service to avoid having to park in the structure and riding the tram in. That is just my personal suggestion!
