« back to Epcot
Hi, my family of 5(Me,DH&DDs 8,6&2)won't have a full day to spend at EPCOT, what "highlights" would you recommend? Would also like to try some of the bigger rides and get a "feel" for EPCOT. Thank You!

Epcot has my vote for the coolest rides of all 4 parks! So..not a full day to spend at Epcot? Here are my list of "must do" rides at the park:
Soarin-Can't leave Epcot without doing this. Feel as if you are hang-gliding with your family on this ride. This is a really cool simulation ride that takes you...well...can't let the cat out the bag, but definitely do this ride! There is a 40 inch height requirement, so one adult may need to stay back. But get the Rider Swap pass, that way the other person can get back on the ride quickly without going to the back of the line.
Spaceship Earth-Have to ride in the iconic "Epcot Ball." The entire family can get on, but need to caution: this ride is slow moving, but has long periods of darkness, which my 2-year old son didn't like. This ride has the Rider Swap also.
Test Track-Feel like a stunt person in this vehicle, with fast speeds and turns. A definite fave! 40 inch height requirement here also. Rider swap available.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends-a fun ride the entire family can enjoy. Even my 2-year old liked this ride!
One to stay away from, potentially? Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. I took my 6 year old daughter and the sights and sounds scared her. One of those rides that didn't work with my young one.
So there you go: Spaceship: Earth, Soarin, Test Track, and the Seas with Nemo. If you can squeeze it in, do the World Showcase. Mission: Space is fun, but to wait for over an hour, for a ride that lasts maybe 3 1/2 minutes, was just too short for the long wait.
Last tip: Get FastPass on some of these if there are long wait lines. This should cut your wait time in half..
Good Luck on your trip!
