Each time I've come to the Magic Kingdom for a hard-ticketed event like the Halloween party, I've seen wristbands for sale in the park. Is this only if the event hasn't sold out already, or does Disney reserve some wristbands to sell to that day's guests?

I'm from the UK and coming to WDW for Christmas. Do I need to purchase a separate, additional ticket to enter the MK on Christmas Day? I will be purchasing the Ultimate Disney Ticket from here in the UK, but wondered what extra I need to pay? Thanks x

We have tickets to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party on Nov 30. 2010. Will I have to purchase Magic Kingdom tickets as well to get in? We will not be going to the park that day, only Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a Special Event requiring it's own ticket. You do not need regular Theme Park admission for that day, but will need to wait until the Party to enter the Park.

We are coming to Magic Kingdom in October 2011 and bought tickets for Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween. On the Special Events page it says "special admission ticket required, does that mean that we have to purchase an additional admission ticket?
