I want to do Mickeys Grand Welcome Celebration for my two daughters; Our first trip to WDW. Was wondering if they will be able to do this the same day we arrive (will arrive 8/14/11 @ 8:00 am)? Staying @ Pop Century, what is the avg. prep time for this?

We are visiting in October and it will be our 4 and a half year olds first time. I would like to do something special for her to be in our room when we get there. I looked at the Princess packs, but it sure seems like $435 is a lot to spend. Suggestions?
