Are coolers & umbrellas allowed in themeparks & can you leave them on decks while on rides?

Both umbrellas and coolers are permitted at the parks. There are, however, some restrictions on the size permissable coolers.

My 11 year old daughter and I are planning to go to DW this April 2009 for 7 days. I cannot decide whether to stay at Disney resort Value hotel or stay outside of disneyworld. What are the advantages and disadvantages in staying in DW?

The main reasons that people stay off-site rather than at a Disney resort are:
- Sometimes the pricing can be lower
- The can get more space for the money
