Actually, your group might be eligible to travel as a 'Grand Gathering', if there are at least 8 members of your party that are age 3 or older. If that applies to you, then I suggest you call one of Disney's Grand Gathering Travel Planners... read more
Why can you not find vacation packages for a family of five? Maybe I am not looking in the right places. Also if you do have 5 people would you have to book a villa, or are there some regular rooms at resorts that can sleep 5?

We are a family of five so I understand your challenge. Booking a villa is a great way to go because you gain an additional bathroom and the ability to have a napping child in a quiet, separate room. But if you would like to stay in a traditional... read more
We are a family of 5 and really want to stay at the Contemporary. We have been to Disney 2 times with the kids and really want to do it up big this year! It will cost almost 2,000 more to stay in the tower at the Contemporary. What should we do?

Hoping to vacation in 2013 by April or May of that year. 2 adults and 6 kids. Adding dining seems wise. 7/6 stay seems right. Animal Kingdom villas for our big group? Want a day at each park, and night out, day to relax. Air or drive? Spring for park hop?

We really want to take our entire family to Walt Disney World in December 2008. There are 6 families going. Each family has kids ranging from 18 to 5. Where is the best place to stay for under $4,000 per family and what ticket options should I add.

Depending on the number of people, I would suggest perhaps rather than having 6 separate hotel rooms consolidating, and if you can handle bunking up together a family or two, look into a two bedroom at Old Key West, or any of the Deluxe... read more
