I always love seeing a question from a fellow Georgia Peach! A reunion cruise would be a fantastic vacation for your extended family! It would give everyone a chance to reunite, but also the space to enjoy time as individual families. Currently, 2014 dates have not been released, but it shouldn't be too long now! Usually the least expensive rates are offered when new dates and itineraries are announced. Rates often tend to be lower in the fall (except for Thanksgiving week) and in January. I have always found good deals at the end of May when many schools are still in session. A three or four-night sailing might work best since it sails out of Port Canaveral which is not a long drive from Georgia. These shorter sailings are a good price point for your group, and each family can choose a category of stateroom that best fits their particular budget. (The "Kids Sail Free" promotion is currently available for the Disney Magic sailing out of Galveston, TX.)
Disney Cruise Line does offer pre-or post cruise add-ons
that can include a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort and theme part tickets. As of now, there is no discount for booking the add-on to your cruise.
My advice is to pinpoint a date that works for your family and keep checking www.disneycruise.com
for the release of the 2014 sailings. Please stop back by the Moms Panel if you need any other assistance! I'm always happy to help!
