Hi Alexa!
The first thing that I would do would be to look at theĀ calendars for each park to decide where you will spend each day. Take into consideration any special things like Spectromagic and Fantasmic that you would like see. Since these shows aren't shown every day, you will need to plan your days accordingly.
I find it helpful to look through the guidebooks and park maps to make lists of all the attractions we would like to see. You may find that you want to do a lot of things in one park and only a few in another. Using this information you can decide what parks might require more than one day and what parks (if any) you can visit for only half a day.
After you have decided where you'll spend your time, you should plan your meals. I always try to make our reservations at a restaraunt in the park we'll be at that day or at a resort close by to cut down on travel time.
The most important thing is to keep your plans somewhat flexible and allow for a little improvisation here and there. There is so much to see and do at Disney, that you won't be able to see it all. If every member of your family chooses a few things that are "must do attractions" and you get to do all of those things, consider your trip a success! You can always see the things you missed on your next trip!
I hope this helps! Have fun planning and enjoy your first trip to Disney World!
