Hi Everybody! Family of 4, staying for 8 nights at Wilderness Lodge with a dining plan. I am wondering how much I can expect to spend while there. We can get our park tickets through a military program. Thank you for any tips that is offered!!

Hi, Megan!
It sounds like you have your meals covered. If you qualify for the military tickets, that would be great! Click
HERE for details on the military discounts. Besides your meals and tickets, there are some costs that you will need to budget for:
-Tips at restaurants. Gratuities are not included in the Disney Dining Plan. Count on about
$20 - $25 per meal for tipping at a table service restaurant. (This amount will vary depending on the "real" cost of your meal if you were paying out of pocket.)
-Tips/general. These are optional, but you may present a tip to your Magical Express driver, housekeeping, or bellboys. About
$40 - $50 but remember, optional.
-Taxis. These may not be needed, but if you need to get to a resort for an early breakfast, sometimes a taxi is the most efficient mode of transportation. Most fares are about
$20 or less.
-Souvenirs. Plan ahead for this budget line, as it is easy to over spend. I like getting a gift card for each member of my family so everyone knows their limit and sticks with it. I plan for $50 per person, so for your family a souvenir budget of
$200.
-Extra snacks or meals during your stay
$100
These are all ballpark numbers, and you will still need to add on your park tickets, so add that to your budget. Other extras that I did not include: stops at the arcade game room, boat rentals, trips to the spa, or any other special adventures you have planned. If there are any activities you have planned, let me know and I will be happy to get you some approximate pricing. Good luck planning your budget for your WDW vacation!
