Question During a recent visit to The Magic Kingdom, we noted an unusual thing at the new Dumbo rides. There are now two identical rides; the first contains Dumbos numbered from 1 a16 and the second from 18 a 33. Why is this and where is Dumbo #17? Thanks

Answer Hi Gary!
Yes, your observation is correct...they have DOUBLED the Dumbo fun over in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. This will allow more guests to enjoy this magical flight at any given time and will help minimize the usually lengthy waits to climb aboard. Another interesting tidbit is that one of the rides flies clockwise and the other flies counter-clockwise.
As for the numbers, we are not always privy to the backstage reasoning of certain things, but I can only guess that they are numbered for easy identification regarding maintenance and such. I was not given a reason for the omission of #17.
I hope this helps a bit and I wish you a Magical day!! :)
