Question Staying at AOA (So Excited!!!) in early June with my family, and wondered if transportation between MK and Chef Mickey @ Contemporary is a quick and easy monorail ride? Also, are we better off to drive from park to resort while we are there?

- Asked by Tabitha on 2/10/2013
Answer Tabitha,

Actually, the fastest way between the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary is usually walking. You can ride the monorail, but dependent upon your wait time, you might find that the walk is faster.

As for driving, no, I would recommend you stick to the resort bus service when going from the Art of Animation to the Magic Kingdom. Parking at the Magic Kingdom is not as conveniently close to the park entrance there, as compared to the other theme parks. In fact, time dependent, I would say that taking the resort bus to the Magic Kingdom, then walking to the Contemporary, is your fastest way from resort to meal, if that is how your schedule works out.

I hope that this helps? If you have any questions, please feel free to write me back!
