1st trip to Disney (Jan 2-8)! We have 7yo twins & a 4yo (all boys). Any 'must-see' recommendations? We have a few char. dining reservations, Tmrwland Dessert party and planning on Star Wars. Any holiday festivities still going on? Any other suggestions

Hi Steve, I'm sure your whole family is super excited and I hope you have a countdown going. That always builds the excitement in our family. I have 3 kids and they are right around the ages of yours, and I'd love to let you know about some of their favorite attractions, shows, and activities. So, let's get started.
Favorite attractions are all of the "mountains" (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain), Tomorrowland Speedway, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom. In Epcot, Soarin', Test Track, and Turtle Talk with Crush are their must-sees. Toy Story Mania, Star Tours and Muppet Vision - 3D are the highlights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lastly, in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids, and the Boneyard are among their favorites. Keep in mind that some of these rides may have height restrictions.
When it comes to activities and shows, I would highly recommend Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes (fireworks) in Magic Kingdom, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (nighttime spectacular) in Epcot, and Festival of the Lion King in Animal Kingdom. In addition to shows and rides, some activities that can keep them occupied while exploring the parks are the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom
and Wilderness Explorers
in Animal Kingdom. Lastly, it is always fun to look for "hidden Mickeys" throughout the parks. There is a book by Steve Barrett, that gives hints and tips on looking for these, many of which are in the rides and queues leading up to them. It is a great way to keep them occupied in line.
Most importantly, have fun and remember to savor the small, unplanned moments of magic as you watch them have the time of their lives.
